A city that reflects its Roman past and the coexistence of Christian, Islamic and Jewish cultures throughout its history. Among the most recommended visits, the Jewish quarter, the Torre de Calahorra, the Roman theater, the Royal Stables, the Plaza de la Corredera... A good way to get to know the city is guided tours of its monuments or touring the thematic routes proposed from the tourist offices and among which are the Roman Cordoba, the route of the Caliphate or the Fernandina route through the medieval churches. Just 10 kilometers from the city and with direct bus connections, is the largest archaeological complex in Spain, Medina Azahara, the site of what was the capital of the Caliphate and declared a World Heritage Site since 2018.
